2008 International Eucharistic Congress

Celebrate!

The 2008 International Eucharistic Congress will be the assembly of the Church of Quebec hosting the Universal Church to celebrate the Living Christ. Its theme will be “The Eucharist, Gift of God for the Life of the World.” The Program includes a variety of celebrations, catecheses, and religious and artistic activities, for both Congress pilgrims and the general public.

which includes:

• For Congress pilgrims arriving in groups: Welcoming at Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB); at the Sainte-Foy, Quebec City, and Charny train stations; and at the bus terminals in Sainte-Foy and Quebec City.
• Access to all Congress activities.
• Individual reservation at the “Eucharistic City”.
• Public transit within Quebec City and Lévis.
• Noon lunches, from Monday to Saturday, at the “Eucharistic City”.
• Documents relating to the Congress.
• Simultaneous translation in French, English or Spanish.
• Access to the reserved section for the Closing Eucharist on the Plains of Abraham.

The Opening Ceremony, the procession of the Blessed Sacrament, the Closing Ceremony, the Eucharistic Festival and Exhibitions are included among free activities.

Parking
