<p>Every year, the Salon international du livre de Québec (SILQ) offers the public a literary showcase of thousands of books and provides visitors with a unique opportunity to meet authors from Canada, Quebec, and beyond: over 1,300 authors participate in this fair, with many taking part in activities that are highly popular with the public.</p>
<p>With a robust youth-oriented program, the SILQ meets the expectations of the 18,000 schoolchildren and the many families who attend the event. The SILQ is a major literary event in the province of Quebec!</p>
